About Our Society
The Florida Genealogical Society is the oldest genealogical society in Florida, founded in 1958. Our meetings are normally held at 10:30 AM on the first Saturday of the month in the auditorium of the John F. Germany Public Library, 900 North Ashley Drive, in downtown Tampa (except for September, when we'll have our annual Fall Seminar on September 18 on the USF Tampa campus).
